
Francesco Cardone
Partner
Francesco Cardone is partner at Alma LED and he mainly deals with domestic and foreign companies advising on corporate taxation, international taxation, extraordinary transactions and tax M&A as well as real estate taxation, with a focus on acquisition and/or sale of real estate assets, both residential and commercial, also identifying for each type the most tax efficient investment structure.
Francesco has also acquired solid experience in the field of tax consultancy for real estate management companies, as well as in relation to transactions involving real estate investment funds and SIIQs.
He has also gained extensive experience in relation to tax litigation and mutual agreement procedures.
Francesco granted his JD in 2004 (University of Turin), in 2010 a Master’s Degree in Tax Law (Il Sole 24 Ore Business School), in 2012 a Master’s Degree in Tax Litigation (Ipsoa, Wolters Kluwer Group) and in 2014 an Advanced LL.M. in International Tax Law at the International Tax Centre of Leiden (Leiden University, The Netherlands).
He was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2007 and to the Supreme Court in 2021.
After an experience within a well-known Tax firm and a summer internship in the Transfer pricing team of Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam, he worked for Fantozzi & Associati in Milan, where he was a Senior Associate until December 2017. Francesco joined LED in January 2018, where he was promoted to Director, Junior Partner since 2021 and Partner from April 2023. In June 2023, together with the rest of the Firm, he joined Alma LED.
